Worst violence in Belfast for years as British and Irish leaders name for quiet – BBC News

The British and Irish prime ministers maintain issued a joint assertion calling for quiet after days of rioting in Northern Eire.

Police in Belfast relate the violence is the worst they’ve viewed right now, scenes that many had believed were a part of the past.

Throughout an emergency session of the Northern Eire Assembly politicians on all aspects lined up to sentence the violence.
