Maui resident John Singer describes himself as a fighter. When flames started sweeping thru his neighborhood, he become no longer about to present up with out a combat, combating the flames with a hose from atop his roof for hours. But when the inferno enveloped his dwelling, he had no different but to leap into the ocean to effect his existence.
