Many objects were destroyed by the Nazis, however 4.1 million of them survived.
The mission is being launched at a time of rising anti-Semitic attacks and vandalism.
It is the fruits of a mission subsidized by the Contemporary York-basically based mostly Institute for Jewish Study together with libraries in Lithuania.
